Prescott Neighbors

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use Prescott Neighbors. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

  • Listing pages and interest pages work without JavaScript. The interactive map is an extra, and every business on it is also listed as text.
  • Photos have text descriptions, and the site has a “Skip to content” link and labeled form fields.
  • We don’t use autoplaying audio or video.

Known limits

The map tiles come from OpenStreetMap and may be hard to use with a screen reader; use the text listings and addresses instead. We haven’t had an independent accessibility audit yet.

Report a barrier

If something on the site doesn’t work for you, email info@prescottneighbors.com with the page link and what happened. We’ll look into it and get you the information another way while we work on a fix.
